Wake up with makeup – enhance your natural beauty!
Cosmetic Tattooing is a technique in which pigment is placed into the dermal layer as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup application. The most common application areas are the eyelids, eyebrows and lips. This procedure also camouflages scars, cleft lips, areola restoration, and vitiligo. Many women find themselves wearing less makeup than before. It can also be used to accentuate your normal makeup for a more finished look.
Benefits of Cosmetic Tattooing:
- Fills in sparse eyebrows or camouflage scars
- Excellent alternative for those allergic to makeup
- Convenience from applying cosmetics daily for busy people
- Great for people with dexterity and eyesight challenges
Advanced techniques achieve a hairline stroke. Provides fullness to brow. Natural looking eyebrows for those with Alopecia.
Pigment can achieve subtle or bold look. Recommended for those with allergies to conventional cosmetics.
LIP LINER & COLOR ENHANCEMENT
Appear as if size, shape, and color have changed. Placement can camouflage fine lines surrounding the lips.
Recommended by many surgeons for women following breast reconstruction in order to safely re-pigment and effectively add more color to the areola nipple area.
SCAR & SMALL AREA RE-PIGMENTING
Burn victims, those with unsightly scarred areas, and people with vitiligo can benefit from this safe and effective procedure. Enjoy fresh, smooth skin immediately after your first treatment.
How is the procedure performed?
We will first discuss the results you desire and may have you apply makeup to determine the color and shape you seek. The area is cleansed and a topical anesthetic is applied for your comfort. Then, using the SoftTap method, the pigment is placed throughout the targeted dermal layer of skin. Procedure length varies depending on area and depth of color being applied.
What will I look like after?
There will be slight swelling and redness of the skin, which quickly subsides. You may resume regular activity after application. Depending on the area treated, you may be asked not to wear makeup or contact lenses following the procedure. You will also want to avoid direct sun exposure for a period of time. Your final results will show in 2-3 weeks.
